3 Delegates of Sharia Economics Master’s Students Conduct Student Mobility, International Conference, and Company Visit in Malaysia

On October 23, 2023, at 04:00 WIB, a total of 13 students from various study programs, FEBI, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, departed from Tugu Yogyakarta Station to the campus to participate in the Student Mobility and International Conference 2023 program. The departure was led by the dean of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Dr. Afdawaiza, S.Ag., M.Ag, and was also attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Salehudin, S.Th.I., M.A.

FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta selected 13 outstanding students from diverse study programs to take part in this year's Student Mobility program. Among them are three students from the Master of Islamic Economics program: Rizki Alfiandani, Amila Zamzabila Putri, and Maulana Ali Akbar. All selected students will be involved in the program for 5 days, from October 23 to October 27, 2023.

The destination university for this year's Student Mobility and International Conference is Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in George Town, Pulau Pinang. Additionally, the Company Visit for this program took place at the Ayam Gepuk Top Global company in Kuala Lumpur.

Upon the delegation's arrival in Singapore, the 13 students participated in a Culture Exchange on the first day, and in the afternoon, they made preparations for their journey to Universiti Sains Malaysia in Pinang for the International Conference program. Over the following two days, the entire delegation presented papers and engaged in discussions on the materials they had prepared, involving problem-solving with all the participants present in each session.

The following day, all student representatives from FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga visited the Ayam Gepuk Top Global company in Kuala Lumpur. The company was established in 2021 by 6 Indonesian students studying in Malaysia. The management presented several topics related to the company's financial management and marketing. The marketing strategy of Ayam Gepuk Top Global focuses on digital marketing, primarily targeting millennials, especially students.

Through these diverse activities, the students from FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, particularly the 3 representatives from the MES study program, are expected to gain new knowledge, cultivate their potential, and impart positive experiences with their peers at their home campus. (RA/AZP)
