Alumni of the Master’s Program in Islamic Economics, FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Successfully Appointed as Civil Servants (CPNS) at Various Universities and the Ministry of Religious Affairs

Another proud achievement has been recorded by the alumni of the Master’s Program in Islamic Economics. A total of 15 alumni successfully passed the Civil Servant (CPNS) selection process this year and were appointed to positions at various leading universities across Indonesia. This success serves as clear evidence of the quality of education and the competence of graduates from the program, which are increasingly recognized at the national level. It also reflects a graduate employment absorption rate of more than 70 percent for the Master’s Program in Islamic Economics.

In this year’s CPNS selection, alumni were appointed to various strategic positions at universities as well as positions within the Ministry of Religious Affairs, including roles as lecturers in Islamic economics, Islamic economics researchers, and auditors. Alumni of the Master’s Program in Islamic Economics were appointed to the following institutions: Aninta Gina at FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga; Akmal Ihsan at the Postgraduate School of UIN Sunan Kalijaga; Reni Furwanti at IAIN Bone; Adnan Azzaki at UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau; M. Maulana and Fajriyatul Abadiyah at Universitas Bangka Belitung; Ali Imran Chaniago at UIN Padang Sidimpuan; Amila Zamzabila at IAIN Kediri; Fathiyyatur Rahmah at UIN Jambi; Nurfitriana at IAIN Bone; Lailatul Nur Afifah at the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs; Achmad Jufri at IAIN Madura; Nella Wahyuni at IAIN Manado; Azam Asykarulloh at Universitas Tidar, Magelang, Central Java; and Fredi Setyono at Politeknik Negeri Cilacap, Central Java.

The Head of the Master’s Program in Islamic Economics, Dr. Muhammad Ghafur Wibowo, S.E., M.Sc., expressed his pride in the alumni’s achievements. “We are very proud to see our graduates contributing to higher education institutions and even within the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This demonstrates that the curriculum and competency development we implement are aligned with the needs of government institutions, particularly in the education sector,” he stated.

Several alumni also expressed their gratitude. “The education provided by the Master’s Program in Islamic Economics not only offered a strong theoretical foundation, but also equipped us with practical skills that are highly valuable in the professional world. I hope to contribute further to the development of Islamic economics in Indonesia,” one alumnus remarked. This success is inseparable from the support of various parties, including lecturers and educational staff of the Master’s Program in Islamic Economics, FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, who consistently provide academic and career guidance to students. As a continuously developing study program, the Master’s Program in Islamic Economics remains committed to producing high-quality graduates who are capable of competing at both national and international levels. The achievements of these alumni are expected to inspire current students to continue excelling and to make meaningful contributions to society.
