The Gadjah Mada International Conference on Islamic Economics and Business (GAMAICI) is a prestigious international conference in the field of Sharia economics. The conference is organized by the Center for Islamic Economics and Business Studies, Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University, and will be held on September 28, 2024. This year, the theme is "Islamic Financial Literacy and Inclusion: Dynamics and Advancement in Accounting, Business, and Economics," focusing on the significance of Islamic financial literacy and inclusion in the global dynamics.
One of the most notable moments of the conference was the participation of the student research team from the Master of Sharia Economics (MES) Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI), UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The team, comprising Muhammad Irnandas, Syarifah Salsabila Babud, and Muhammad Agus Futuhul Ma’wa, achieved the prestigious Best Paper award for their research titled "Encouraging Sustainable Development through Islamic Financial Inclusion: A Dynamic Study in Indonesian Provinces."
